He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira S. Potter, Sr. and Ada Potter; and his sister Nancy Alvarado. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jo Potter (Sheeks); his brother Cafeteria; his sons, Jay Potter and Jeff Potter; his sister Brenda Sheeks; and his grandchildren, Quinton Finch, Brenton Potter, Bella Potter, Gracie Potter and Emma Jo Potter. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
