With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hildegard Cooksey of Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hildegard Cooksey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef Wittmann and Hildegard Wittmann (Purgstaller); and her husband Robert Lowell Cooksey. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Stec of Martinsville and Andrew Cooksey (Alicia) of Linton; her sister Inge Pinkerton of Atlanta, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth LeBlanc (Cody), Daniel Stec, Sara Stec, Eli Cooksey and Kailyn Cooksey.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for contributions to be made to Gideons International.
