It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Gay Helton of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chandos Otho and Dora Gladys Graham (McFarland); her husband Larry Dean Helton; her stepdaughter Missy Morrison; and her sisters, Julia Skinner, Etta Wheeler, Dora Evans, Carolyn Leonard, Karen Graham and Janice Kelley.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Dean Rushing II of Texas and Renia McFarland of Georgia; her stepchildren, Chris Helton (Nikki), Troy Helton of Martinsville and Chasta Rodgers (Michael) of Martinsville; and her siblings, Chantos O. Graham Jr. of Greenfield, IN, Wilma Fairbanks of Greenfield, IN and Letha Lucichinger of Fillmore, IN. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
