She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Ann Thacker of Martinsville; her grandsons, Dakota and Wyatt Dawson; and her cousin Aubrey Anderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her extended Thacker family, whom she considered her brothers and sisters.
