It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Thomas Long of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father George Albert; his close friend Betti McClain; his sons, Major Stephen Long and David Long; and his son-in-law Chuck Faulk.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Long of Arizona, George W. Long (Anna) of Irvington, Nancy Burcham of Indianapolis and Michelle Stevens (Wes) of Martinsville; and his brother Eric Robinson. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Morgan County Humane Society.
