It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Raymond Shelton of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Springville, Indiana, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George Ray; his siblings, Hubert J., Harold W., Gerald L., Lloyd A. Shelton, Faye O. Arthur, Anna M. Wilson, Phyllis J. Tucker, Treva J. McGuire and Anneta L. Taylor; and his stepson Donnie Etter.
He is survived by: his wife Nina J. Shelton (Payton) of Martinsville; his children, Monte J. Shelton of Williamston, SC and Deronda K. O'Neal (Mike) of Paragon, IN; and his brother Dewey G. Shelton (Shirley) of Bloomington, IN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
