He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Frederick and Blanche B. Hayden (Hock); his sister Doris Lee Peters; and his son Matthew Hayden. He is survived by: his wife Susan M. "Sue" Hayden (Lemire) of Martinsville; his sons, Justin Hayden (Nikki) of Loogootee, IN and Mark Hayden of Plainfield; his stepdaughter Wendy Prather of Carmel; his grandchildren, Keelan, Connor and Lyla Hayden; and his nieces and nephews, Billy Means (Brenda), Ronnie Means (Tanya), Julie Taylor (Brian), Zeke and Peanut.

Contributions may be made in Fred's memory to the Morgan County Humane Society.
