She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hoke and Leona Hoke (Rhinesmith); her former husband George E. Riley; her husband John F. Sternberg; her son Gregory G. Riley; and her siblings, Jonathan Hoke and Nadine Corse.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim Fish of Martinsville; and her stepchildren, Janet Thompson and Mark Sternberg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one step-grandson; and one great-grandchild.
