She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Lewis Dunigan and Laurie Dunigan (Stout); and her siblings, Herschel, Rick Dunigan and Nancy Amos.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Koon Jr. (Buddy); her son Russell Koon (Rusty); her daughter-in-law Sophie Koon (So); and her sister Rita Kerr (Dunigan). She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Purdue University Center for Cancer Research (PCCR) in memory of Rose's work supporting the organization via the IEHA Cancer Research Endowment.
