She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Walt and Dorothy Walt (Ailes); her husbands, William DeWeese Sr. and Charles McDaniel; her son Chris DeWeese; and her sister Judy Sims.
She is survived by: her children, Bill DeWeese Jr. (Donna) of New Whiteland and Angela King (Clint) of Morgantown; and her siblings, Aaron Walt of Indianapolis, Martha Black (Rick) of Paragon, Lou Jean Walt of Martinsville and Dixie Bland of Spencer. She is also survived by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
