It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Lucille Griffin (Martinsville, Indiana), who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Burpo and Goldie Ann Burpo (Adkins); her husband Raymond Gilbert "Bud" Griffin; and her siblings, Mildred Schoolcraft, Kathleen Wigal, Gladys Burpo, Vina Myers, Alice Burns, Charles, Raymond, Henry, Hoover, Shirley and Homer William Burpo.
She is survived by: her children, Priscilla Austin of Martinsville, Lori Wilber (Lloyd) of Martinsville and Jerry Griffin (Pat) of Martinsville; her daughter-in-law Marilyn Griffin of Martinsville; and her former spouses, Ricky Dale Griffin, Joyce Hamilton and Sharon Stickan. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren.
