It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris E. Hechinger of Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on August 6, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her former spouse Lt. Hechinger; her husband Gerald Hechinger (Jerry); her children, Carmen Naak (Roland), Harold Hechinger (Barbara), Christina Smith (Tim) and Stefanie Cain (Kipp); her siblings, Ingrid Merder, Frank Wagner and Winfred Konrad; her grandchildren, Samantha, Justine, Nicole and Enrico; and her great grandchild Luca.

Contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
