He is survived by: his wife Kathy L. Pierce (Ridgeway); his sons, Kent D. Pierce (Lois) of Gatesville and Leon Pierce of Greensburg, Kentucky; his stepsons, Jim Schroll of Anderson, Tony Schroll of Clearwater, FL and Michael Schroll of Indianapolis; his grandson Matthew Schroll of North Judson; and his sister Virginia Howard (Don) of Louisville, Kentucky..
