He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Newland and Leota Newland (Doan); and his brothers, Bill Newland and Scott Newland. He is survived by: his wife Connie Newland of Martinsville; his children, Dayna Cade (Patrick) of Brownsburg and Denise Retz (Dean) of Greens Fork; his grandchildren, Corbin Retz of Greens Fork, Livia Cade of Brownsburg and Josie Retz of Greens Fork; and his siblings, Marvin, Myron, Tony Newland and Darlene Brunner.
