She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Hack and Martha Hack (Forbes); her husband Randy A. Carter; her daughter Linda Morrison; and her siblings, Ronald Hack and Donna Bryson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Londa Cook (Tom) of Martinsville and Marianne "Mary" Bewley (Craig) of Martinsville; her grandchildren, Angel McMullen (Chris), Tyler Yates (Samantha), Matthew Yates (Kristen), Isaiah Hernandez, Daniel Cook, Darius Cook, Jeremiah Cook and Jonathan Cook; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Marceline, Caden, Maddison and Scarlett.
