He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Ricky Thacker of Martinsville, Michael Jerry Wood of Indianapolis, Nancy Potter (Jeff) of Martinsville, Susan Richards (Rodney) of Greenwood, Debbie Schaeffer of Poland, Angela Barnhill (Frank) of Martinsville and Tammy Scott (Mike) of Camby; and his siblings, Jack Thacker of California, Tom Thacker of Martinsville, Rhonda McKinney of Martinsville, Nancy Gash of Eminence, Judy Vandagrifft of Martinsville and Joyce Rynard of Martinsville. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
