He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Sheeks and Beryl Sheeks (Turk); and his siblings, Duane, Glenn, Bob, Fred Sheeks, Janet Harrison, Erma Scott, Doris Gastineau and Janice Sheeks.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Irene Sheeks (Shingleton) of Martinsville; his children, Paul Massey (Judy) of Lafayette, David Massey (Maria) of Frankfort and Cindy Claywell (John) of Martinsville; and his sister Marlene Ham (Joe) of Martinsville. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren.
