He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Marshall and Thelma Louise Bryant (Weddle); his stepsons, Wally and Matthew Ferran; and his siblings, Jim Bryant, Sharon Downey, Patricia and Joyce Bryant.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Bryant (Rice) of Martinsville; his daughters, Aleah Partlow of Florida and Kimberly Bryant of Minnesota; and his siblings, Bill Bryant (Janet) of Morgantown, Arthur Bryant (Jan) of Martinsville, Mike Bryant (Helen) of Gosport, Steve Bryant (Darla) of Paragon, Pam Robertson (Clayton) of Gosport and Frieda England (Tom) of Martinsville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
