He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Edna B. Maddox (Wesley); and his daughter Angela Carol Painter. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Jane "Pam" Maddox (Morgan); his children, Melissa Jane Maddox-Cunningham (Jay Michael Cunningham) and Edward Wayne "Eddie" Maddox (Camille Rollins); his brother James Andrew Maddox; his brother-in-law Billy Wayne Morgan (Kim Morgan); his aunts, Mary Lou Carmen, Mary Warner and Nancy Brummett (Ronald Brummett); his uncle Gary Dunn (Gina Dunn); and his grandson Holden Lee Painter. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
