He was predeceased by: his mother Janis Ora Martin (Heithecker). He is survived by: his father Joe O. Martin of Martinsville; his wife Niki Lee Shields of Martinsville; his children, Robbie Hammitt of Martinsville, Shae Russell (Michael) of Indianapolis and Katie Hammitt (Bryan Dawson) of Los Angeles, CA; his siblings, Michael S. Martin (Pam) of Martinsville, Joseph A. Martin (Kimberly) of Indianapolis and Ann Walker (Mark) of Martinsville; and his grandchildren, Corrinne of Indianapolis and Robert Russell of Indianapolis.
