He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles D. Ritter and Betty Lou Ritter (Trueblood). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Ritter of Martinsville; his children, Charles Keith Ritter Jr. of Indianapolis, William James Ritter of Gosport and Lisa Ann Wyatt (Greg) of Indianapolis; his siblings, James Ritter of Indianapolis, David Ritter (Connie) of Indianapolis and Cheri Ritter (Jazz) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Alex Wyatt, Jacob Wyatt and Katie Sanders; and his great grandchild Ayden Wyatt.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
