He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Herrington and Julia Herrington; his wife Wanetta Herrington; and his siblings, Richard Herrington, James Herrington, Robert Herrington, Merva Rice, Mary Joanne Stahl and Irene Truax.
He is survived by: his children, Pennie G. Griffin of Brazil, Bradley J. Herrington of Indianapolis and Brian D. Herrington (Bryttani) of Terre Haute; his stepson Johnny G. Wright (Jan) of Florida; his grandchildren, Kelsie Simonson (Jeremy), Corey Simonson, Lisa Lawson (Adam), Laura Sevier (Shawn), Lucas Herrington and Jasen Michael; his stepgrandchildren, Bryan Wright (Frieda), Rebecca Wright, John "Bill" Wright and Jeremy Simonson; his great grandchildren, Brendan, Addison, Kylee, Haylee, Aiden, Ethan, Everlee, Emmett and Brielle; his siblings, Everett Herrington of Worthington, Jerry Herrington of Gosport and Barbara Sheese of Greencastle; and also Margaret Patton of Brazil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
