It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole J. Thurston of Martinsville, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Lowder and Wilma C. Turner; her husband John William Thurston; her sister Priscilla James; and her pet Rebel.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanne Lynne Thurston and Nancy Ann Ayton (Paul David); her grandchildren, Jena Lynn Kinney (Jerry), Gabrielle Marie Barnett (Kyle) and John Russell McCloud (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Owen Parker Barnett, Addyson Marie Barnett, Kinsley Rose Barnett and William Joseph McCloud; and also Kayla McCloud.
