She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Whitesell and Freeda Mae Whitesell (Hamm); her husband Teddy R. Shaver; and her siblings, Barney, George, Ernie Whitesell, Beverly Peters, Celia Scott, Rhonda Kindred, Jean Clephane, Barbara Davis, Myrna Poore, Ernestine Richardson and Della Lou Creed.
She is survived by: her children, Davey Shaver (Chrissy) of Martinsville and Angie Hawkins (Mark) of Martinsville; her brother Melvin Whitesell (Diane) of Martinsville; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Megan, Aaron, Brian, Brad and Brandon. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
