He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Bunton and Cora May Bunton (Stewart); his wife Frances A. Bunton; and his siblings, George Bunton, Ted Bunton, Larry Bunton, Ronnie Bunton, Gary Bunton, Jo Ann Collier, Reva Davis, Frances Bunton, Ruth Bunton and Betty Bunton.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Bunton (Cindy) of Martinsville, Jeffery Bunton (Jonetta) of Bloomfield, Billy Bunton, Jr. (Lana) of Martinsville, Indiana, Sharon Frazier (Doug) of Martinsville, Christina Silbernagel (Bruce) of Martinsville and Carolyn Barnett (Gene) of Martinsville. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
