She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Leroy and Virginia Rose Hamblen (Rairden); the father of her children Buddy Mathers; her grandchildren, Kayley Jo Mathers, Aaron Malone and Buddy Kent; and her siblings, Dale, Ronald Hamblen, Sierra Sue "Suzie" Lucas, Virginia "Dee" Baker and Nina Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Duane "Bobby" Mathers of Martinsville, Brenda Jo Armstrong of Martinsville, Rhonda Mason (Jack) of Martinsville, Patricia Ann Mathers of Martinsville, Leslie Jean Mathers of Martinsville and Donna Rose Akers (Greg) of Arizona; and her siblings, Darrell Hamblen (Beth Ann) of Spencer, Steven Hamblen (Laverne) of Martinsville and Teresa Vandergrifft of Martinsville. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center (110 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
