He is survived by: his wife Fern Viola Hutton Burgess; his children, Robin Stewart (Steve) of Marshall, Doug Burgess (Sally) of Rockville, Todd Burgess (Pam) of Rockville and Ted Burgess (Darla) of Marshall; and his grandchildren, Heather Emery (Brian), Kelsey Carmichael (Jason), Morgan Hester (Todd), Brodie Burgess (Kara), Mollie Golden (Larron), Natalie Cole (Justin), Tyler Burgess (Kara) and Trent Burgess (Katie).
