She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hanes and Bessie Hanes (Ames); her husband Hugh Umbaugh; and her sisters, Helen Neidigh, Maxine Hayes, Dorothy Swank, Martha Rusher, Barbara Rogers and Carol Hunt.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Umbaugh (Nancy) of Land, Marcia Dowell (Brent) of Elkhart and Susie Chamberlin (David) of Plymouth; and her brother Ralph "Bud" Hanes Jr.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
