It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene V. Goodwin (Markleville, Indiana), born in Washington, Indiana, who passed away on December 18, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Frances H. Goodwin (Cody); his parents, Joseph Goodwin and Ethel Goodwin; his sons, Gary L. Goodwin and Scott D. Goodwin; and his siblings, Letha Hinkle, Maxine Walters, Hollis Goodwin, Margaret Bronnenberg, Forrest Goodwin, Annalee Killion, Jerry Goodwin and Ruth Goodwin.
He is survived by: his sons, James V. Goodwin (Cathy) and Brent W. Goodwin (Monica); his sisters, Mildred Walton and Ruby Biddinger (Tom); his nephew Keith Bronnenberg (Dee); and his close friends, Joe Garrett and Cliff Randolph. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
