He was predeceased by: his father Ray E. Ellet. He is survived by: his mother Betty A. Ellet (Dennis) of Markle; his wife Linda Lou Bear; his daughters, Jenny Oden (Nick) of Markle, Sarah Spitzley (Nathan) of Jackson, MI and Rachel Stutzman (Matt); his siblings, Dennis Ellet of Zanesville, Charolett Gehring (Larry) of Craigville and Becky Beal (Jim) of Huntington; and his grandchildren, Alix Oden, Livy Oden, Grace Oden, Flavi Stutzman, Hannah Spitzley, Levi Spitzley, Isaac Spitzley, Zeke Stutzman and Kate Stutzman.
