It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell L. Elzey in Markle, Indiana, born in Bluffton, Indiana, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Leroy and Verga Pauline Elzey (Smeltzer); and his siblings, Phyllis Foster, Lois Smith, Marceile Adams and Wayne Elzey.
He is survived by: his wife Susan of Bluffton; his children, Richard Elzey (Cindy) of Fort Wayne, Robert Elzey of Fort Wayne, Nancy Zimmerman (Scott) of Colleyville, TX. and Kathleen Martin of Oxon Hill, MD.; his grandchildren, Derek Elzey, Ben Shull (Jamie), Casee Paige, Adam Elzey, Taylor Elzey, Matthew Elzey, David Elzey, Jasmine Escalante (Josh), Bradley Zimmerman (Carolyn), David Zimmerman (Shawna) and Nikkiya Daniels (Daryl); and his great grandchildren, Riley Shull, Bryce Schull, Jace Escalante, Joaquin Escalante, Jonah Escalante, Grayson Zimmerman, Sophia Zimmerman, Zoey Zimmerman, Willow Zimmerman, Gabrielle Daniels, Darryl Daniels, III and Elijah Daniels.
