It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David P. Merchant of Markle, Indiana, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Merchant and Beverly Merchant (McClenny). He is survived by: his wife Marquita of Markle; his children, Benjamin Merchant (Amber) of Fort Wayne, Sarah Ziegler (Paul) of Waynedale and Randy Merchant (Konny) of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Avery, Atticus, Atlas Merchant, Chloe Ziegler, Paige and Mason Merchant; and his sister Sharon Scheiber (David) of Churubusco.

Memorials may be made in Dave's memory to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or to Helping Hands in Bluffton.
