She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Clarkson and Mary Clarkson (Barber); her husband Purdle H. Briscoe, Jr.; her daughter Deborah K. Briscoe; and her siblings, Margaret Brewer, Francis Allen and Elwood Vaughn.
She is survived by: her children, Denita L. Briscoe of Marion, Dale H. Briscoe (Melodie) of Marion, Darrell W. Briscoe of Fort Wayne and Dawn M. Briscoe of Chicago, IL; her grandsons, Huston Briscoe of Marion and Seannon Briscoe; and her great grandchildren, Jordyn and Devi. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
