He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gillespie and Lura Gillespie. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gillespie; his sister Lorena Pettit of Sharpsburg, KY; his children, Sheila Shank (David) of Marion, IN, Bill Gillespie (Theresa) of Crystal River, FL and Keith Gillespie (Stephanie) of Marion, IN; and his grandchildren, Gordon Hood, III, Trenton Gillespie, Dustin Gillespie, Taylor Tobin (Ryan), Travis Gillespie, Brandon Gillespie (Bethany), Nicolas Morrison (Morgan) and Danielle Morrison. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
