He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Robert Ellis (Doris). He is survived by: his wife Judy Ellis; his daughter Emily Ellis (Senthil Mukunthan); his grandchildren, Nathan, Maya, Meera, Gavin, Meena and Neal; and his siblings, Judith Lindblom (Arthur), Deborah Armstrong, James Ellis (Beverly), Charles Ellis (Marcia) and John Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
