She was predeceased by: her parents, Windell Cotter and Minnie Cotter (Tullock); her husband Rick Cottrell; her brother Tim Lane; and her sons, Billy Cotter and Tyler Cottrell.

She is survived by: her children, Daneta Cottrell of Marion and Rickey Cottrell (Katie Johnson) of Marion; and her siblings, Michael Earl Cotter (Karen) of Fairmount, John Dwayne Cotter of Marion, Joseph Franklin Cotter (Tara) of Marion, Daniel Salie, Alvin Lane, Ed Lane, Denise Cotter, Susan Hartzod and Susan Herrmann. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
