In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth Anna shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth Anna farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Howard and Mary Howard (Bradford); and her husband John Edmond Chaplin. She is survived by: her children, John Chaplin, Jr. (late Connie Sue) of Marion, Charles H. Chaplin (Kim Brewer) of Marion and Vera E. Carstensen (Barry) of Greentown. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
