He is survived by: his children, Kim Dawson-Horton (Odester) of Marion, Ronald L. Dawson, Jr. (Mary Kay) of Carmel, Fred McCreary of Marion and Marsha McCreary of Marion; his grandchildren, Derricka Lollis of Baltimore, MD, Derriesa Lollis of Marion, Morganne West, Evan Dawson of Carmel, Marsha Renee of Muncie, Fredricka, Thalon, Sheena, Brandon and Latoya; his great grandchildren, Derrion and Derrick; and his siblings, Mildred Powell of Anderson, Lois Ann Miles of Anderson, Mary Ellen Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Daverna Jackson of Atlanta, GA and David Jackson Jr. of Anderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
