He was predeceased by: his father Orville L. Sherman, Sr.; his wife Jacquelyn S. Sherman; his mother Ruth May Sherman (Henderson); and his siblings, Agnes Irene Mayo, Ruth Ann Detamore-Reynolds, Janet Blackburn, Virginia Sherman, Betty Sherman, Mary Sherman, David Sherman (Loretta) and Richard Sherman.
He is survived by: his children, Robert E. Sherman, Jr. of LaFontaine, Debbie Brewer of Van Buren and Stacy Bartel; his brother Orville Lee Sherman (late Joan) of Marion; and his nephew Robert "Bob" A. Sherman (Barb) of Marion. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
