He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Sprowl and Hazel Sprowl; his sisters, Yvonne Peters and Jennine Bleistein; and his daughters, Dianne and Susan.
He is survived by: his wife Evalyn Fairbank Sprowl of Marion; his children, Rebecca Franklin of Marion and Donald Sprowl (Donna) of Marion; and his grandchildren, Todd (Riecka), David (Dori), Dawn, Jonathan (Carolyn) and Jennifer. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
