In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Raymond had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Raymond may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his father Russell Nelson, Jr.; and also Roberta Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Dawn N. Nelson (Friedersdorf) of Marion; and his siblings, Rick Nelson (Tina) of Hamilton, OH, Randy Nelson of Marion and Rita Mellendorf (Michael) of Marion. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (1606 W 26th St, Marion, IN 46953). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
