She was predeceased by: her parents, Odas Phillips and Hattie Pearl Phillips (Lay); her husband Robert E. Ellis; her daughter Teresa A. Curtis; her great grandchild Dylan Curtis; and her siblings, Wanda Bowling, Mary Ellis, Lorraine Foster, Lydia Overton, Diana Norris and Charles Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughter Malinda Wampner (Mark) of Sharps Chapel, TN; her grandson Shane E. Curtis; her great grandchildren, Shane Z. Curtis and Jake Curtis; and her sister Colvinia Chambers.
