It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mac A. Washington Sr. of Marion, Indiana, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Booker T. Washington and Gladys Washington; and his sister May Lee Washington. He is survived by: his son Mac A. Washington (Tanya); his stepchildren, Robert Vanbuskirk, Don Vanbuskirk and Eva Vanbuskirk; his grandchildren, Precious Vanbuskirk, Rosetta, Jordan Vanbuskirk, Landon Salazar and Roman Bidwell; his sisters, Lily Washington, Deena May Washington and Merlean Johnson (late Lawrence); his stepsister Anna Gustus; his nephew Wallace Washington, Jr.; and his brothers, Matthew Washington, Wallace Washington and Mack Washington. He is also survived by several step-brothers and step-sisters.
