He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edington and Rhoda Edington (Roberts); his wife Shirley Turnbaugh; his daughter Cynthia Irwin; and his siblings, Betty Thomas, Jane Bond, Sue Schafer, Ivan Edington and Sam Edington.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Hanna (Bill); his granddaughters, Michelle Baker (Tyler Hindman), Amy Disney (Alan), Beth Combs (Mike) and Jessica Irwin (Luke Ulshafer); his great grandchildren, Meghan, Matthew Baker, Macey, Rylie Disney, Logan, Nolan and Kegan Combs; and his siblings, Freda Thomas, Ada Wood, Catherine Baldwin, Gib Edington, David Edington and Stephen Edington (Lydia). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
