He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sluder and Louise Sluder (Sherill); his son Shane Sluder; and his siblings, Maurice, Lester, Linda and Sue.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Sluder; his children, Summer Hellis (Dan Stackpoole), Jimmie Sluder, Jr., Joyce Hickey (Sonny) and Shari Dollar (Jefferson); and his siblings, Doris Wilson and David Sluder. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
