She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gordon and Vada Arnold (Smith); her husband Leroy Eugene Johnson; her children, Gary Johnson and Marilyn S. Plummer; and her grandchildren, Greg Johnson, Howie Gallion and Sherrie Ellen Gallion.

She is survived by: her son James "Jim" Johnson; her daughter-in-law Judy Johnson; her grandchildren, Michelle (George), Melissa (Dave), Gary, Jr., Jenny (Danny), Jamie, James Robert (Breanne), Shianna and Jayden; and her great grandchild Adreannea. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (1606 W 26th St, Marion, IN 46953). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
