Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gwendolon leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Marks and Ruth Marks (Donaldson); her husband James F. Phelps; and her siblings, Mary Eib and Charles Jr. Marks.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Scott (Polly) of Anderson, Arlen Scott (Lorinda) of Marion and Robert Scott of Marion. She is also survived by her eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glad Tidings Family Church (401 E Highland Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home to assist with the expenses of the funeral.
