She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Rook and Mardella Rook (Nelson); her husband Jack Shanks; her son Mark Shanks; and her brothers, Mike Rook and Pat Rook.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Shanks of Marion; her grandchildren, Zachary Shanks and Briana Drook (Jordan); and her daughter-in-law Karla Shanks.
