With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Max Sommers in Marion, Indiana, born in Hicksville, Ohio, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Flossie Naomi Sommers (Thomas) and Edward L. Sommers; his wife Geneva Sommers; and his siblings, Russell Gray, Wayne, Everett Sommers, Tom Gray, Mary Nuckles, Madeline Bley, Mae Ohnek, Phyllis Wells, Dorothy Roemig and Doris Joan Hickman.
He is survived by: his son David Sommers (Sandra); and his granddaughters, Betsy, Carly, Kit Sommers of Indianapolis and Charlotte.
