He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm R. Collins and Glendora B. Collins (Woodring); his sister Blanche Davis; his stepsister Pam Brown; and his stepfather Albert Franklin.

He is survived by: his sister Ida Shuck (Bob Caine); his brother-in-law Lloyd Davis; and his nieces and nephews, Ed Myers, Jessica Shuck, Melissa Wininger, Rhonda Davis, Amber Hatfield and Ray Myers.

Memorial contributions may be made in Donald's memory to the Special Olympics Indiana, envelopes will be provided at the mortuary.
